HID Kits:
HID Xenon lighting provides upto five times more light and 300%
brightness over standard halogen lighting. The technology is also more cost
and energy efficient with HID Xenon conversion lasting up to ten times longer
than Halogen.
HID Xenon micro-discharge bulbs are full of noble gases and
unlike standard bulbs do not have a filament. The HID bulb lights up when two
electrodes of tungsten metal cross. The ballasts have built in electronic starters
to get the arc going and maintain the arc up to 24000 volts!
The ballast converts and manages the high energy levels that
supply the bulbs with power. The HID Kit ballasts built in tracking system regulates
and controlls the energy levels automatically shutting off if voltage is going
to escalate beyond acceptable levels. This ensures that the bulbs to not get
damaged or explode.
